La stagione agonistica 2009 è iniziata anche per la categoria riservata alle Moto Classiche sia in Italia che all'estero, e possiamo aggiungere che i risultati per i piloti-clienti Paton non potevano essere migliori!

Domenica 8 marzo a Vallelunga si è disputata la 1a prova del Campionato Italiano Moto Classiche 2009 e nella classe "GP 500 Epoca" la vittoria è andata a Duilio Damiani, che alla guida della stessa Paton del Team Altinier Campione d'Italia 2008 classe 500 con Oreste Zaccarelli, ha ottenuto l'en plein assicurandosi anche la Pole Position ed il miglior tempo sul giro in gara.

Si è quindi ripartiti da dove si era rimasti: in occasione dell'ultima gara di campionato 2008 infatti, tenutasi sul Circuito di Franciacorta nello scorso mese di Ottobre, avevamo assistito  ad un pieno successo dei piloti Paton con la Pole Position appannaggio del pilota Inglese Oliver Linsdell (Squadra Corse CMM), con la vittoria ed il migior giro in gara per l'altro pilota Inglese Lea Gourlay (Team Winfield) e la conquista del Campionato ad opera di Oreste Zaccarelli (Team Altinier).

Ci spostiamo all'estero, in Francia, dove domenica 29 marzo si è corsa sul circuito Bugatti di Le Mans la 1a prova del Campionato Francese Moto Classiche 2009: il pilota Svizzero Kurt Weber, a bordo della sua Paton BIC500 8v RU 1968, si è classificato 5° e 1° nelle due gare della classe VMA Classique, ed è ora 2° nella classifica di Campionato.

 

2009 Racing Season had its start-up for Classic Bike Category too, both in Italy and abroad, and we are proud to say that results achieved by Paton's privateers couldn't be better!

On Sunday 8th of March, at Vallelunga race track, they organized the first event valid for 2009 Classic Bike Italian Championship, and the first place in the "GP 500 Epoca" was in the hands of Duilio Damiani, who on the saddle of the same Team Altinier's Paton which was 2008 Italian Champion with Oreste Zaccarelli, settled the hat-trick, as he started from Pole Position and recorded the fastest lap of the race too.

So things started where they stopped last year; at last 2008 champioship race, organized at Francoiacorta Circuit last month of October, people looked at a full Paton riders's success with Pole position settled by English rider Oliver Linsdell (Squadra Corse CMM), win and best lap by the other English rider Lea Gourlay (Team Winfield) and Championship's victory by Oreste Zaccarelli (Team Altinier).

Now we go abroad, in France, where on Sunday, March the 29th, Le Mans Bugatti Circuit hosted the first race of 2009 Classic Bike French Championship; Swiss rider Kurt Weber, astride his own Paton BIC500 8v RU 1968, classified 5th and 1st in the 2 races of VMA Classique class he entered, and is now 2nd in the Championship overall standing.
